Former Rep. Mimi Walters Endorses Crystal Miles For State Senate

Villa Park, CA - - Momentum continues to grow for Republican Crystal Miles' campaign for the State Senate in the 37th District. Today, Miles announced that she has been endorsed by former U.S. Representative and State Legislator Mimi Walters.

"Crystal Miles is a fresh new face and energetic and accomplished woman who understands what's wrong in Sacramento and how to fix it," said Walters, who represented over 250,000 voters in the district. "She is the candidate who can help end the state's one-party majority rule and restore some sanity at the State Capitol."

Like Walters, Crystal Miles is a mother and businesswoman who started her public service career at the city level. A Villa Park City Councilmember, Miles operates a wholesale distribution business with her husband Kirk. Previously Miles served as a research scientist specializing in biomedical immunology research and development at Johnson & Johnson and Nichols Institute Diagnostics. She was elected to the City Council in 2018 and reelected in 2022, including a term as Mayor in 2021.

The 37th Senate District is expected to be a top legislative target for both parties in 2024. The Orange County district stretches from Fullerton in the north to Laguna Niguel in the south.
