Crystal Miles is an Orange County Business Owner and former Research Scientist specializing in biomedical immunology. Miles was elected to the Villa Park City Council in 2018 and reelected in 2022, where she has established her reputation as a fiscally responsible, pro-business public servant. She served as Mayor in 2021.

Before running for City Council, Miles served as a research scientist specializing in biomedical immunology research and development at Johnson & Johnson and Nichols Institute Diagnostics, where she was part of a team conducting important research studies’ and clinical trials for cancers such as end stage melanoma, and breast cancer.

Crystal and her husband Kirk own and operate United Industries LLC., an Orange County-based wholesale distributing business established in 2001. Crystal and Kirk are the proud parents of two sons and are long-time residents of Villa Park.

As a Republican candidate for the State Senate in the 37th District, Miles is running on a platform of Public Safety, Lower Taxes, Economic Growth, Local Control and Parental Rights in Education.
